Guys I saw the Dead at Izod center last year for curiosity and
a little nostalgia thrown in. They sounded ok but I came to the conclsion that nothing and nobody can replace Jerry ever. With saying that I could easily believe that Warren Haynes can sit in w/ any band he's that good and I could easily do without Branford Marsalis on sax.The place wasn't close to a sellout which suprised me and of course
the main cog of the band was gone. After that I have not seen Further or Ratdog which I never liked.

i have attempted to go to a show, phil and fiends, the dead, etc.., hell, even the waybacks with bobby, or something to that effect, but i realize i can't go back, that the reason i went, at least, the one who drove the band will not be there, so therefore, i realize before i invest the energy that it will not be what i think it will be. so today i see shows with no expectation of line up, and so far the only ones to blow my mind is sam bush, and the like. bela fleck is doing some interesting things, but there is a ton of grate new music out there ready to be appreciated. and no, it isn't phish.

saw the tour opener in G'boro, NC

I think God punished me for going to a rock concert on Easter Sunday. Though the shows got better, they never approached the "magic" of The Other Ones 2002 show I attended.

I have not seen Furthur(might), Ratdog(No thanks) nor Phil & Friends(would like to...depending on lineup).

Watching and Listening to Ratdog, Dodge Theatre, was like waiting for your date to finally undress before she passed out - You were hoping something eventful might happen, but deep down inside, you knew you were going to sleep deeply unsatisfied...
